Mintleaf shuffled her paws on the ground and stared silently at them for several more minutes before speaking.
"Would you be willing to help me find some place to stay?" she finally blurted out.

Mintleaf immediately felt relieved and joyous.
"Thank you!" she exclaimed happily, leaping to her feet and bounding a few yards away.
"Where she would start looking?" she asked, coming to a sudden halt and walking back towards Kilo a bit more calmly.

"Err... Well, I'm not too fond of having a lot of trees over my head. It's my dad's fault--he's like, paranoid, of living under trees, but my mom really loved it," explained Mintleaf.
"And I'd like it if it was a bit farther north, since my family lives in the south, but if I have to live close by I'll deal with it," she continued, shrugging slightly.

"Err...well..I guess we could try near a meadow or something."said Kilo shrugging. Most of the Valley seemed to be forest though so it might be hard to not be in a forest.

"That'd be great! Lead the way, Sir Kilo!" exclaimed Mintleaf, bouncing around. She liked the noise her bracelets made--they reminded her of a bell--so even after she stopped bouncing, she twitched her tail so the sound of metal hitting metal rang through the air.
