Ok remember a while back when I explained that I had a friend I had nto seen in ten years, but he was moving closer to me. Well he did, but I didn't know where.
Well last night he was moving again this time I know where and he stopped by. I got to see him for the first time since May 1998.
It was great. I also met his girlfriend, her two kids and two of his 4 daughters. I had a great visit and when I go on my vacation this summer, I am going to the town where he just moved to, so I get to see him again. In less then 2 months. I am so excited.

Thrilled, that si the only word I can think of that describes my feeling. And when we saw eachother it was like no time had passed except the time had in fact passed

That's wonderful that you guys still are friends. ^_^ With so much time passing, I'd be worried if my friends and I were to meet up after not seeing each other for ten years, since that's a lot of time to change. But I'm glad that you guys were still able to talk and such like you used to. ^_^

Well I tried with another friend of mine and it didn't work, and we had only not seen eachother for 3 years and now we are not friends anymore. Soemtimes time passes and you grow apart. Les and I were friends, then we dated and said hurtful things to eachother, then parted, and talked again a bit, but the fact remains, that with us being so close for so long we are family and consider eachother as such.
He and I are just that weird combo fo people that fit.

It's amazing that people can be through so much and still be best of friends. ^_^ The wonders and joy of friendship.

I'm so happy for you PM I just wish I could see my best friend who lives in California now...I haven't seen her in almost 5 years, and while we do try to keep in touch, it isn't always easy

No it isn't. Sometimes keeping in contact is the hardest thing to do. I had lost contact with him completely for 9 of those ten years. I hope you can see your friend again soon

Well I think being 25 helps with that. Just image one of your friends still being friends with yu when you are 25. I met him when I was 12 so not that old when you think of it

I knew Meg (my Jade Angel in heaven) before I even knew who she was...we'd been friends almost like sisters since I was a toddler and she was a baby. Our mom's worked together.
Hopefully I'll get to see my friend in Cali soon, since she has to "approve" of Keith before we get married xD and if that doesn't get to happen, I'm still flying her in for the wedding, since she's one of two Maids of Honor
