I find there are only 2 awards that are worth calling names for. Perfect attendance, and straight A's through out the year.

We have a few that are worth calling names for, but honestly, I don't like having to sit through those. -_-' They are very considerate at my -old!- school (the JH. <3). They'd have a separate night for Academic Night (4.0 grade point average (GPA)), and another night for all the other awards, then the last day of school for graduation.

I got the Silver Level Artist Award and A/B Honor Roll. I would have made perfect attendence but apparently I skipped a few days and missed the bus another But, it's over now and I can finally relax. Plus, I have an urge to reinvent Angel. I've been obbsessed with vampires lately and have awesome plot twisters that I plan to put into action this summer ^^ And no, I haven't read Twilight yet, I was refering to Vampire Knight the anime and manga.

Okay, so they recognize people in math and science club but thats it. not Art club who builds the float. not music club that sets up a lot of the events....

Fiiiinalllls eugh. Then I'm out for the summer though... and Jy is off to college next year, goodness o.o; He's pretty excited for it, though.
Next year is going to be boring, not just because Jy is leaving but because I have a whole bunch of annoying classes, like physics, fitness (noooo), speech, advanced algebra/trig, and business and finance. Yay, let's learn about insurance! Senior year will be good, though - no math, no science, and Independant study in art... I might even get a study hall! Hahah.
Can't wait for summer, though. I am done with school and can't focus to save my life anymore.

One more day of classes, then graduation rehearsals and I'm free. I won't know what to do with myself, but I can't wait.

Nah, I don't mind calling you Lina. ^_^ Yay for Rae! You're going off to college, right? No freshmen and seniors in Canada? That's interesting. ^_^ What do they call those grades, then? (And thankies, mwahaha. >3)

Grade 8 grade 9 grade 10 grade 11 grade 12
We aren't fancy. Ok we call grade 8-9 Twinkies, that is about as fancy as we get.

Twinkies? x3 Lol, that's cute. We call our seventh graders "sevies", but otherwise, our names are standard for the US. ^_^;; Eighth graders don't have a special nickname, though. Teachers call us troublemakers, sometimes, but that's about it.
But it's kind of nice having just simple names for the grades, since that way no one gets confuzzled. It took me until 8th grade to figure out the orders of freshman, sophomore, junior and senior. xD

Well I think now with the separation of the grade 8's out of Canadian High schools Twinkies will be grades 9-10. A Twinkie is someone who is just so sweet and quiet, and won't stand up to the grade 12's, full of mush you know. Not really a term of endearment, but it is what we called them. Not that I am older I have a few nickanmes for the teens I meet, which I won't share with the group of teens in these forums since you are all great.

Hehe, well, in that case, the term 'Twinkie' probably won't spread down to my friends and I. ^_^;; But it's certainly a good term. Mwahaha. >3 Us Pykiin people all rock, teens and adults both. (I don't think we really have any kids here anymore, since I think that everyone is either in 7th grade, going into seventh grade or older.
