C'teresi strolled out of Ryuu's hut, which stood on the far edge of the Valley territory. Somehow the magical little building always seemed to have enough room on the inside for all the many strange creatures that lived there, and yet C'teresi still felt cramped. He didn't want to live in a hut with the little kiin anymore! (Well, okay, so Azure and some other adult Pykiin still lived there... but mostly it was the kiin.)
Determined to find his own home, get his own breakfast, and other adult things (maybe there would be girls around!), C'teresi spread his wings and took off. With strong beats of his wings he quickly gained height in the air, then held his wings open to catch the breeze and glide. He looked below as he coasted over the Valley, looking for home/food/girls/other adult things.
Yes today was going to be great!

Shelby was exiting here den followedd by the curious Calesa. Shelby stretched her wings and and legs and went to get a drink of water from the pond. She pondered over to the pond and got a drink of water before trotting over to the lake and going over the log. She was headed towards the Dryad to see if anyone she knew was there. Normally she would have flown there,but today she decided to walk.

C'teresi tucked his wings in and flew low over the Valley, enjoying the wind in his fur. He saw the Dryad and headed in that direction. Could he find a home near there? The Dryad was good and big and strong. Anywhere nearby would be a safe home, he was sure.
As he neared he could see a powder blue shape below, and a dark blue one right on its heels. He grinned as he spotted the sleek mane and tufted tail of a female. All right! Girls!
With a twitch of his wing C'teresi turned a barrel roll and flew upside down toward the girl on the ground below. He shot past her and flipped rightside up in the air, coming down to land perfectly in front of her.
"Well hello there," C'teresi said with a smooth grin. "Haven't seen you around here lately. I'm C'teresi though, I'm sure you've heard of me. Best flyer in the Valley." He winked. "And what's your name, pretty girl?"

At first Shelby was shocked as the male rolled down and landed perfectly next to her. She smiled. "Wow that was great!"she said commenting on his perfect flight. "Nice to meet you C'teresi, I'm Shelby."she blushed slightly when he said pretty girl. Then grinned."No I'm sorry to say I haven't heared of you before."
Calesa rolled her eyes at C'teresi. A sat down and drew picutures to entertain herself in the sand.

C'teresi looked shocked, but he was mostly joking. "Well, then it's a pleasure to meet you, Shelby. I'll have to teach you all about me." He chuckled, proud of his own wit.
Remembering the other one who he had seen from the air, C'teresi looked around and noticed the small Remiel nearby. "And hello to you too," he added, bending down to look at her. "What's your name?"

"Calesa."she said bluntly then went back to her art ignoring the male.
"I can't wait!"said Shelby smiling then looked down at Calesa and back up at C'teresi."She's a little grummpy today."

C'teresi made a tsk sound. "Well that's no good," he said, smiling indulgently like a father with a grumpy child. "Maybe a friend her own size will cheer her up. Hey, Moorn!" He looked all around. "Mooooorn! Hey, Moorn, where are you? I know you're nearby, I can tell!"
After a moment of silence, a small white and green shape dislodged itself from a tree and fluttered over. The syora had a white body with a green bolt of lightning crawling across her feathers. She folded her wings and settled onto C'teresi's shoulder.
"Pleasure to meet you both, Shelby and Calesa," she murmured softly. C'teresi had no idea how she knew their names. Moorn was a very mysterious Valley inhabitant. She showed up in the most random places with the most random statements.
"Er, anyway!" C'teresi laughed. "How about we go for a walk? Or a flight? Or a ...breakfast? Are you hungry? Do you live around here, by the way?"

Calesa looked up from her drawings and smiled at the Syora."Hi!"she said her mood changing quickly.
Shelby laughed by C'teresi's numerous questions." I live nearby and yes I am kinda hungry and in the mood for a good fly."

Abbi, who had been taking a walk to get away from her annoying brother, found the two Adult Pykiin. She loved to make new friends and the Male was awfully handsome. So she made her way over.
"Hello. I am Abbi. Who might you two be?" She asked.

"Great!" C'teresi spread his wings. Moorn fluttered down and landed next to Calesa, since she didn't want to be in the way when the giant green lug took off.
"He flies so well because his head is full of hot air," the syora whispered to Calesa, but her face was perfectly expressionless, hard to tell if she was making a joke or not.
C'teresi was just about to take off when a beautiful dark, dark green Pykiin female approached them. C'teresi's heart skipped a beat. As it does whenever he sees any adult female...
"Uh, hey there," he said. After a moment he tossed his head and fluffed up his mane, trying to look good. "Nice to meet you Abbi. Allow me to make introductions. I'm C'teresi, and this is the very lovely Shelby. Oh, and the little bondeds are Cal-something and my syora Moorn."
C'teresi looked up into the air, then at the Dryad, trying to decide which of his objectives he wants to accomplish first. A flight would be nice, but his stomach was starting to rumble. "Care to join us for breakfast?" he asked the new girl.

"Well hello Shelby, Moorn, and Cal..." She said. She didn't want to say what he said so she asked the bonded "What is your name?"
Just as C'teresi asked the question of breakfast her stomach growled. "Does that answer your question?" She smiled and blushed. It was quite embarassing.

"Right-ee-o!" C'teresi grinned, goofy. "Breakfast for all of us! Hmm, well now." He frowned suddenly. He was used to eating with others, and they usually were the ones who took the lead in finding food. But this time, he was an adult! He was going to get food on his own. Well, get food for the lovely girls, of course.
"I think fruit is the best way to start the day," he decided out loud. "All we need is to find some lovely fruit trees. Shall we start walking?" He looked around, trying to decide which direction to go in to find the fruit.

"Fruit is the best bay to start out the day!" She smiled. "Fruit trees. I know where a few are if you don't. Head of the Pounce Angie has a bunch of Fruit decadances in front of her Den. But if you know a few then we can go that-a-way."

Raina coasted lightly to join a small group of pykiin. "Hi Shelby, Calesa. Who are your friends?" Raina, settled between Raina's wings, glanced up but didn't budge.

C'teresi nodded to Abbi. "Why, that sounds great! Why don't you lead the way? We'll follow right behind!"
He was about to call for Moorn to get back into place on his shoulder when a beautiful spring green Pykiin approached. All at once C'teresi felt like giggling, and could almost imagine little hearts over his head. Oh she was so pretty! "Why hello there, little lady," he said charmingly. "Welcome to the breakfast club, haha. And hello to you too, little Remiel." He waved to the colorful creature on her back.
