(Anyone may join  I'm just getting into the mode of trying to rp all my pykiin evenly  Viro stared at her watery reflection. It was so different then what she and everyone saw her as. Here right in front of her, was a girl who seemed like everyone else. But really, she wasn't. And she knew. But how could they all say she was like all else through what she'd been through? Had done? It was... impossible. Viro pushed those thoughts of her mind and rippled her reflection in frustration. A new start, she thought to herself. The little red kiin closed her eyes for a moment. When she opened them again, herself lay calm. It was time to find something to do like jump from branch to branch. But the branches in this place were huge. How would she do that? The red kiin couldn't think of anything. Her final decision - see if she could climb that tree with her paws and legs. Crouching down in front of a tree in stance like she was about to ram into the base of it, Viro readied herself. In one... two.. Three! She ran stealthly and grabbed hold to the tree trunk. Slowly making her way up using her legs and arms. And truthfully, it was pretty fun. |

Dardei was out enjoying his new, longer legs. He saw a red form swarm up into a tree. He walked over to stand below. "Hello. I'm Dardei, who are you?"

Viro heard a voice behind her yelped, nearly letting go of the tree. The red kin scrambled to stay suspened over the ground. "I'm Viro. I'm pretty new." She said matter of factly.

Viro rolled around thoughts for awhile before replying, "Sure. It's fine. Atleast I didn't fall." A pause. "I actually just came sometime ago. Been hiding for most of the time. What about you? Are you new too?"
Viro decided to let go of the tree and jump down. Her legs were hurting anyways.

Dardei jumped back when the kiin let go of the tree. "Are you all right?" he hastened to ask. "That was quite a fall." Returning to her questions, he said, "I've been here for a while, I suppose. I just grew up, so I was re-exploring, as it were. Things are different when you're bigger."

Viro sat up and brushed her side from the dirt. Turning her attention back to Dardei, "I guess. I've learned a couple of things during the time that I wasn't here. Or traveling. Things like that." Her voice was even and smooth. A touch of casualness too.
"Really? I never really thought of it like that. I've been little like this for most of my life. I have no idea when or where I would grow up. Or even how." Viro said, some frustration seeping into it.

A maroon Pykiin walked put from behind a patch of bushes. Yawning, she saw two other Pykiin talking over beyond where she hid. Gathering courage, shy Elegant Heart stepped out to greet them. "Hello! I am Elegant Heart, have I ever met you before?" she asked curiuosly. Her memory was so short-termed.

Dardei smiled at Viro as he sat down. "Most kiin don't think about growing for a long time. Don't worry about it. When you do grow, though, you'll probably need a rodeli. Those are little mouse-like creatures that live in An'ethyst."
"Hello, Elegant Heart. I don't think we've met, but I'm Dardei." He nodded to the winged kiin. "Nice to meet you."

"Oh... no wonder. I've never seen one. And An'ethyst seems so far away." Viro inquired a little.
Just then, a pink female came. She was taller and had wings. Probably an adult since she was surely bigger then Viro herself and Dardei. "Hello. I'm Viro and pretty new. And you are?"

((Actually, Elven are taller than normal pykiin. Flitters are smaller.))
"An'ethyst isn't that far." Dardei smiled encouragingly. "There are frequent trips, and lots of pykiin go together. That way no one gets lost or hurt."

"Mm, I hope not." Viro slienced for a moment after Dardei's last words - 'no one gets hurt', her heart twisted around. I forgot about all of that... remeber? The red kiin closed her eyes for a moment, shaking her head lightly.

"I've heard of only a single serious injury in all the time I've been here. And there's Water Elementals around to heal anyone." Dei noticed an unusual pause in Viro's speech, and he turned his head to look at her better. "Is something wrong?"

"No... no, it's fine. I sometimes get these unusual... flash backs. Thats all." Viro insisted, hoping that Dardei would buy it. Atleast, for now until she could get her thought's straight. She quickly dropped the subject and continued what Dardei said about water.
"Water elementals? Doesn't that seem kind of... out of this world?"

Dardei wasn't quite convinced, but he respected her privacy. "I suppose it would until you get used to it," he agreed. "There are others with power over the other elements as well. I know an earth elemental, and there's an air elemental in my pounce as well, though I haven't met her."
