oh sorry! hahaha. Me so dumb. It's called the Temeraire series (that's the name of the main character's dragon). The first book is His Majesty's Dragon. Second book is The Throne of Jade (they go to China!). Third book is The Black Powder War (they go to get some fire-breathing dragons to help the war). Fourth book is Empire of Ivory (epidemic is wiping out the dragons eek).

Fifth book isn't out yet, but will be coming soon!
