Orrtha stood with her back to the wind, the unusually strong gale pulling her tail around her side. Her chin was tucked against her chest, as it normally was. When she finally pulled her head upwards to survey the place she knew as home, her grotesque set of quivering tentacles were caught by the wind and rippled wetly beneath her fine, chiseled face.
The tentacle beard. The one thing that marred her beautiful form, that made her a terror to look at, was her pride and joy. The corners of her mouth twitched into a seemingly malicious grin much like her father's, and she remembered the few times she had seen him in the Valley. She had even talked to him once, and his features had softened slightly with her words, but for some reason he never stayed near her very long. He had many children in the Valley, including Orrtha's sister Talkane, but never seemed to acknowledge them as his own flesh and blood. Orrtha knew better. She was the proud daughter of a strong, courageous sea king, and she would not stand to be seen as anything lower. It never struck her that her father wasn't highly respected in the Valley, even when she heard others whispering about him she said that it was out of jealousy.
A tall, spindly figure about Orrtha's size sped through the grass below. Within moments, the maroon Elven was trotting around to Orrtha's left side, and the older kiin didn't hesitate to nuzzle Orrtha's short mane. "Come to watch the sunrise again, have you?" Amaranthine asked, sitting with a straight back and a diplomatic air. Her smile and eyes were playful, however, and her tail swished about gently. Palido, Ammy's unofficial bonded, flicked his stubby little tail and pranced into a quick stride around the two. The tiny unbonded Rodeli that Amaranthine insisted on bringing everywhere quickly scrambled up into Orrtha's mane with a chittering noise and went about its business playing with the scraggly strands of green-gray fur.
"Indeed," Orrtha responded, her eyes losing their harsh pride as her friends joined her to witness the vibrant hues of morning.

Alexander was walking around as he usually does. Rei worrying as he did normally because for some odd reason Alex was always gone. Rei never fully knew where but he knew that he probably got his own alone trait. Before Kisi Rei loved to be alone but now he loved to be out in the open. Alex couldn't stand the open where people could see him. He didn't really like the appearance which was also the reason why he didn't like the water.
Alex seen 2 Pykiin one was really tall and the other was his size but had a squidy looking beard. He thought about it and the tall one looked kind of like his pouncemate Kenzie. Well nothing really except that Kenzie was tall like her. He found himself drawn to them he tried to walk in the other direction but he was pulled towards them.
He had to talk to them he couldn't just look like some retard just standing there not talking to them. He bowed down and said "Hello my name is Alex."

As a way to relieve her mother from stress, Brandy trotted happily on her own through the rough grass. The strong breeze ruffled her short mane and was the cause of her wincing. It may have been smarter to have walked in the direction the gust was blowing, but perhaps not as fun.
The tiny bracelet on her back paw would continuously creep up her leg and was the source of her leg jitters. In no way was she ungrateful for her jewelry and markings, it gave her cause to be proud of her mother. Not that she wasn’t, her mother was strong, loving, advisable, and beautiful Pykiin. She would have been ashamed to have been born to someone else. She hadn’t needed to be ungrateful for her life, her parents were splendid and the fact that her father would have never thought of settling down with her mother, didn’t seem to bother her.
She hadn’t really had any grand experiences with her father, it never seemed as though he was around. Brandy didn’t blame him though, why should he stick around and help Addei? It wasn’t like they were that close any way. She had been fortunate enough to meet her fellow siblings even if they were only half. She had never really clicked with them. Yeah they were great, and she could consider them as friends, she just felt as them to be more acquaintances.
Brandy had no probable cause to be out and about especially in the direction she was headed. She had been in this area many times before, so there wasn’t anything new she could explore. But there had to be someone new she could meet though, there always was. With all the recently born ‘Kiin scattered around the Valley it was no surprise that she met new Pykiin, just the whole idea of meeting someone new every day had her mind boggled.
She wasn’t terribly astonished when the figures of two ‘Kiin appeared in the horizon. She was used to seeing new faces and not learning their names it was a customary happening. Brandy pulled her chest forward, and stood up tall to make a seemingly good impression. He tail blew out almost straight behind her tiny figure. She finally reached a point where she felt as though if she spoke with a normal tone, she would be heard well enough.
She spoke out in a peculiar sort of tone, “What brings you two here on this effervescent morning?”

Leelee as usual, was having one of her other walks through the forest or Valley. But something had an air of difference around her. A sea grean Syora flew above Lee. Though, this wasn't her own bonded Syora, rather her mother's, Kestral. Earlier, Leelee's mother had asked Kestral to follow Leelee. But Lee had noticed the green Syora follow her so there was no use for the Syora to hide. "Why must I follow you?" The sea green Syora asked, apparently, a tad bit annoyed. "Perhaps you are annoyed becuase you aren't bonded to me? No?" Kestral was imidietly silenced.
"Shall I go ahead?" Kestral asked, but spead ahead anyways, glad to get away from the kiin for awhile. Kestral came back with an eager chirp. "Guess what? I found some other kiin! Come come!" She chirped. Lee, without word, followed. There she saw a greyish female kiin who by the first thing that caught lee's atention, was her tenacle beard. Interesting, but not scary.
"Hello there. I am Leelee and this...." without poitning towards Kestral who was perched in a tree, "Is Kestral. My mother's bonded syora." Though I don't know why mother asked her to follow me..." Lee said under breathe. The sea green syora just ignored the kiin and chirped, "Yup, I'm kestral. And who might you be?" She asked curiosly.
Leelee then noticed another kiin. Female kiin. She was a tan colored girl who had a bracelet.
(will add more in the mourning =3 erm edit that is Sorry!)

A small flitter sat alone on a stone, watching the sunrise. Kiarilia loved the flow of color, the vibrant edges, the smooth shadows, the patterns of the clouds. At sunrise, she was at one with the world, and all was well. Once the sun rose above the tree line, everything changed, of course, but this in-between time, not night, not day, this was perfect.
Rilia heard several other pykiin, also come to enjoy the perfection of the morning, but she did not let them intrude on her solitude until the sunrise was complete. Once the bright orb cleared the trees, she sighed happily and turned to look for the others who shared her special moment.
She was cautious approaching the others, for she had not had much contact with the outside world. Rilia's mother Athena prefered it that way, saying that the Chosen were ever set apart so. Rilia longed for the freedom every other kiin seemed to have, instead of the strict courtesies of life in Athena's new Temple.
"Hello, do you mind if I join you?" she asked the grey-green kiin. Rilia was smaller than the others, and the larger, maroon one scared her a little. "I couldn't help but notice you enjoying the sunrise, as I do."
