My first reaction to the last scene after the credits was, "Hey, that kid from the beginning is alive!"
...And then when Elizabeth came on screen I realized how stupid I was.

Aww, I wanted it to be the same kid too. *tears*
On an amusing note, when I went there was a full theater, and I'm the ONLY person who stayed through the credits to see the end scene. lol.

My friend and I had to sit in the way front because we got there later than most people. The loud parts were REALLY loud.

Okay, I got the soundtrack from Dad and I just had a revelation -
In "Hoist the Colours", the first verse is;
"The King and his men
Stole the queen from her bed
And bound her in her bones..."
Could they be referring to Calypso?

Oooo, I'll bet they are! haha. I was figuring it was just some random pirate-y thing to do, stealing a queen to make trouble, but then there's the 'bound in bones' thing which doesn't make sense unless you're talking about Calypso (or I was thinking a bodice or corset, which were originally made with whale bone back then)

Geeez. haha. Okay, I'm obsessed with webcomics. I have a bookmarked folder of about 30 I check most days a week, depending on when they update. Today Real Life annoyed me: www.reallifecomics.com/Out of all the things in the movie I thought needed a little work, the webcomic guy is complaining about the parachute!? Jack used it for like 5 seconds of just one scene! Geez! Oooh, webcomics. The only ones I watch are Gunnerkrigg (omglove, still need to check it today) and Minus (www.kiwisbybeat.com) which is too cute to pass up. Sometimes I'll read through an episode of Dr. McNinja, too x3
I actually thought that the parachute scene was a classic Jack move. Only he would think of something so insanely impossible... but yet somehow still possible. And I know I'm horrible, but shooting the monkey out of the cannon was hilarious. I very nearly shouted, "Holy flaming monkeys, Batman!"
Sorry for more gushing over the soundtrack, but "Up is Down" is my new ultimate favorite. I play it on repeat sometimes, and I almost never play songs on repeat because it gets too annoying, but I just want to listen to that track over and over again. I have to prompt the Band director into letting us play selections from PotC3 this year. ^^
