I just finished reading a book that has joined my list of absolute favorites. There are only three that I really like as much as I did this one. This book is called Wolf Captured. Its the third in a series I think, and I will shortly be looking for the other two. It is about a woman named Firekeeper who was raised by a pack of intelligent wolves. She thinks herself a wolf born in the wrong body. She acts like them, speaks to them, etc. Anyway one of the members of her pack is named Blind Seer. He got his name from his pale blue eyes, which his parents thought meant he was blind. Anyway by the time we get to this third installment, they have wandered the world with the aid of Derian, a human male who found her and told her about her human heritage.
I wont go into details since some of you might choose to read it, but suffice it to say that the two of them, Firekeeper and Blind Seer, are in love. They can do nothing about it because of thier difference in species, but they are. This is something of a backdrop in the book, which is really more an adventure story than a love story, but the whole thing is played s well that it just works beautifully. I sometimes found myself wanting to cry during the scenes they shared.
Now that the love pairs of cabbits are finally ready, I just had to make a pair of cabbits designed after these two. I plan on looking for more once I can get some PG together to commision them. So now I present to you my version of them. Blind Seer is designed as he was in the book, or at least as close as I can get. He is colored basicly as a typical wolf. Firekeeper I transposed to cabbit form in my own design, but I left her with her hair and her Fang (what she calls her dagger, since she has no true fangs).
