This past week has been absolutely AMAZING. Auditions were today, and muchos happiness because I made Symphonic! I better than made Symphonic, I literally passed with flying colors. My band director assured me that I'd have at least 2nd chair, and that by the end of the year I might even have a few first parts. Squee! <3 Plus, I finished my ceramic sculpture of a chickadee playing clarinet - it's going into the kiln today and I'll get it in a little while at school - so I don't need to go to school tomorrow and can just stay home. Study for exams (psssh, yeah, sure), you know. I have a 99% in one of my classes, so at least I don't have to study for that exam. Biology, on the other hand, I should probably work on. Friday I may be going to a Pirates party, and then over the weekend is camping with the family. *sprinkles happy-sprinkles of joy on the RP forums* I have enough, I can share with you guys  |

Oh, not second chair in the entire clarinet section, just second part. That would be... extremely crazy. I would have been in Symphonic my first year if I were that good.

You must be absolutly awesome to get 2nd chair! ;D -high-fives you- And a Pirates Party? Ooo.... I wish I could go! I love pirates! And Partys! xD ;D And have fun camping! Yeah, the assignment was to sculpt an anthropomorphic animal - so basically, one doing something human. And I love chickadees, they're my favorite birds, so I decided to make one to kind of represent myself ^^ Fitting that it would be finished only an hour after the big audition :3
Camping is plenty of fun in my family - and we don't eat grill food all the time, since we cheat and have a big camping trailer with an oven and whatnot.

Congrats of the audition. I hate auditions, and I always feel like I did worse that I actually did, so if you feel good about it, you probably sounded amazing.
It's always a great feeling having high A's in all your classes. I'd study a little, just on stuff you don't quite remember, or a general review, but don't try to stuff your head, it will just start leaking out again.
Have fun with the party and camping!

Camping is twice as fun if you go hunting at the same time! xD
I went actually this winter and caught a moose with antlers that stretched over 41 " and weighed almost 580kg or 529lbs.

I actually tend to do better on tests if I don't study for them, because then I'm just cramming things into my brain and I get all confused over them. It's easier if I let everything come to me via memory. I have a great long-term memory. Short-term... not so much xD
*shudder* I have an aversion to dead animals... and I could never kill one of my own free will, I'd feel so horrible about it. Not saying that hunting should be banned or anything, but I personally don't have the stomach for it.

Eh, its not that bad, and I don't do it every weekend, I prefer paintball though. Bu the best part of hunting moose is the moose burgers and steaks.
I just wish we wouldn't go in the middle of winter whne it's -40 and below. xD
We dont' hunt animals we don't plan to use though, I think we've only gone hunting for rabit onceand we didn't even catch one, we tend to sitck with moose, because there is an endless suply up here.

I rarely study either, only if there's a list of stuff to memorize, like vocab, and even then, I do it a few days ahead of time.
I'm with K13 on this one, I couldn't bear to kill an animal. I don't even eat most kinds of meat.

Yeah, vocab yould be an exception... though my last vocab quiz, we had 51 terms to learn in a week. I copied all the definitions for the words the night before and had no time to study, so I winged it and only got four off. It was a matching quiz, though, so pretty easy overall.
I'm a slacker >.>
Mooseburgers? xD Sounds ineresting....
Eh, after watching a pigeon get its wing ripped off and die in pain, I became extremely sensitive to these things.

Eh, trust me I would never tortur a thing like that, I'm not like that.
I'm with you K13 when I don't study I get 90's and above, but when I do I end up with 60's. It stincks. xD
