~History~
Akiyama is interesting, I think. He came from the same place Mayonaka and Mizu came from. He is Mizu's real brother, and, when Mayonaka, Mizu, and Akiyama were kiin back at where Akiyama still considers home, Mayonaka was Akiyama's best friend when Mizu wasn't around. And - get this - Mizu and Mayonaka used to get along. Don't ask me how that happened...
Now for the actual timeline type thingy.
Akiyama is Mizu's older brother, and only family. Their parents somehow disappeared when they were young, and were never seen again. Mizu and Akiyama stayed in the den by the sea that their parents had left behind, until Akiyama met a female. She looked a lot like Amai, to put it simply. Akiyama's friend was nicknamed 'Ai', which means 'love' in Japanese. Mizu told Akiyama to call her that when he began falling for her. Obviously it worked, since she fell in love with him in return. He found out, though, what her real name was. 'Yume', and began to call her that. Akiyama stayed in her den, which was made of soft stone walls with a ground flooring. Mizu stayed behind in their parent's den.
Not long after Mizu got taller, though, a huge storm hit Mizu's den. Mizu was swept into the ocean, and Akiyama never saw him in their homeland again. He assumed, though, that if his dear brother was still alive, he would have somehow made it to the Great Valley he'd heard of.
However, just months later, another storm hit. However, this time it was at Yume and Akiyama's den. Akiyama was swept into the air, and dropped a very long ways away from the den. He could not find his way back to Yume, so he began walking in the direction of the Great Valley. He didn't find out about Yume until she finally arrived in the Valley herself.
I had to edit the story a bit, just because of the way things actually turned out in the RP.
~Personality~
Akiyama is a lot like Mizu. He is caring, and kind. Also fairly knowledgeable. He can.... sense the nature. Where water is, if a storm is coming, if the flowers will bloom. *shrugs* So for instance, if someone tries to dump water on his head, he will be able to move out of the way, in theory.
Which isn't to say that he's like, a super-pykiin or anything. xD It's more or less just very, very good hearing.
