(Sorry! Well, I don't think Amai knows the one about Hercules, even though it's kinda turned into a Disney movie, it's still a good one. )

(Hmmm. My brain's not working so well, so I'm going to cheat.)

"How about I tell you about the birth of the world and the Gods? It's not the prettiest story, but the beginning's always a good place to start, if you're going to learn more about them..." He took a deep breath, closing his eyes and getting comfortable, before beginning.

Amai gazed, speachless at Apollo. "Zeus was really brave," she murmered finally. "And his dad was really mean," she decided. She smiled at Apollo, "Thank you for sharing the story with me!"

He smiled brightly at her. "It's my pleasure. I enjoy story telling."

((God forbid he and Gathertale end up in the same place...XD))

"And I enjoy listening!" Amai laughed lightly.

Amai blushed, "I-um, thanks," she said, smiling.

He smiled back, giving her a light nuzzle.

Amai blushed, then she took got up and took a step back, starting to cry. "I... this... Apollo..." she cried, her heart pounding.

"Amai?" He jumped to his feet, startled. "What's wrong?" He wondered what he did wrong, to make her so upset.

Amai shook her head, "Y-you did nothing... I can't be doing this," she choked out, trying to whipe away tears. "Apollo..." she began, wanting to confide in him, but not knowing what to do, what to say, if she even should.

[Gabelet]

Apollo wanted to help, but he did not know what to do, curling his tail tightly around his back legs in worry. "Can't be doing what?" he asked softly, afraid of the answer.

"C-can't be liking you..." she murmered, staring at the ground. "Can't be loving you...." She looked at Apollo, then at the ground again. "I don't think age matters in anything... especially love. It doesn't matter to me that you're kiin, and I'm an adult.... But... it just... doesn't seem right," she admitted, trying to whipe away her tears.

"...oh. Oh." Apollo had known he liked Amai from nearly the moment he met her, but he never dreamed she would think the same of him. He sat down hard, trying not to just curl into a ball. Once again, being a 'kiin stopped him from doing what he wanted to. "I- I like you too- I'm sorry that I'm not-"

Amai looked at Apollo, blushing threw her wet fur. "I don't care that you're a kiin.... It just..." she hid her face, ashamed of herself. "I don't know why, it just seems...." she stopped, not knowing what to say. The last thing she cared about was age, but yet now she'd made Apollo feel bad. And she'd just said what she had about the person inside mattering, not age.... Great, she thought, rather discusted with herself. I'm turning into Yue... she looked at her paws fearfully, What if I get his attitude?! she thought to herself in horror.
