Golden Day is the second of my trio of customs, and she is based on a beautiful spring sky, with sky blue and puffy white clouds and yellow sunshine.

Pounce: is techincally in Ryuukokoro's Pounce but doesn't live with the other Pykiin; lives in a tree with his son Denali
Relationships: bonded to Sunny the Rodeli; mother-Ichiyazukuri; adopted brother-Bern; knows lots of Pykiin in the valley but no close friendships

History:
Day has always traveled with her mother for as long as she can remember. Kuri took her to different areas of the world, always looking for food and shelter, pushing onward when the seasons changed and it got too cold.
Day is exceptionally happy now that they have found their peaceful valley to live in. She never wants to leave! She's very outgoing and eager to meet Pykiin her own age for a change. Pykiin are very new to her, the only ones she ever saw before she came to the valley were from a distance, as Kuri wouldn't trust any enough to get very close.
As Day grows into an adult and meets her bonded, Sunny, she remains cheerful and nice to everyone but makes no close friendships. After a bad instance where she developed a crush on a boy Pykiin who was already with another girl, Day never felt the urge to look for a soulmate. Like her mother, she doesn't want to settle down and--though she is secretly lonely--doesn't get close to anyone.
After having two sons with Shtiya during breeding season, Golden Day took Denali and moved into her own tree home, leaving Kuri to live with Bern. Day knew she couldn't raise two boys by herself so Tuwawi now resides in FlyingHigh's Pounce. Golden Day is very determined to be a stable and competant mother, because her own mother was such a flirt and a wanderer. But this means she's something of a hovering mother, always babying Denali and making him the center of attention. Now that Denali is grown, she isn't quite sure what to do with herself.
