Raina accepted the tea with a nod of thanks and took a sip. Looking at Shomari with a polite expression and a conversational tone of voice, she said, "So if someone attacked you, you'd just stand there and wait to die?"

Amai came back to the clearing with the group of Pykiin, "The lookout be finished, Captain! Oh, and I brought back..." she took three stems off her back, "Peanut plants! Like I promised," she grinned and looked at Jimen, "Thank ye' Captain! I'll go plant these peanuts," she said, dragging Jimen toward the field.

Once Amai planted the peanuts, she went toward the pond to get some water. Jimen stayed in the field. (I don't feel like explaining details, so....) Amai came back running to Jimen, "Come on, I have to see the Captain!" She said, throwing her little brother up on her back. She ran back to the brown pirate Pykiin and placed Jimen on the ground. She grinned, "Captain, I... I grew up!" She said excitedly as she spread her wings. She straitened herself out, and smiled, "What be me' next orders, Captain?"
