Raina looked at Jack with a hint of reproach. "Seri wouldn't refuse to help a plant because she didn't like you." She cocked her head and smiled rougishly. "What did you do to get her so mad at you anyway, Cap'n?"

"You must have said or done something. She probably over reacted, though. She really hates Davy Jones, so she was probably predisposed to dislike you." Raina nodded wisely, not entirely sure what she had just said, but it felt right. She glanced at Shomari and grinned. "Breathing is definately fun. Much more fun than not breathing."

Raina stared at Shomari, mask raised at the non sequitor. Then she ducked her head and giggled. Looking back at Jack, she added, "Not that it matters, the Valley is plenty big enough for you two to avoid each other."
